Studied bass with Arthur Maia in 1991 and graduated in Functional Harmonia from Rio Música in 1994. In 1998 he played with Celso Blues Boy on the “Nuvens negras choram” tour. In 2001 he was invited to be part of jazz singer Rosa Maria Colin’s band, with whom he plays until today.
He has also worked with the singers Amelinha, Pepê & Neném, Dalto, Serguei, Cláudio Zoli, and also with important names on the Brazilian instrumental music scene, such as Vitor Santos , Claudio Infante , Kiko Continentino , Pascoal Meirelles , Zé Canuto and Marcio Bahia.
In 2006 he recorded Paulinho Guitarra’s instrumental CD “Transpace” and continues to tour with him until today.
In 2013 he performed at Rock in Rio with Os Tiras. Also in 2013 he was invited to join TO3 with Mark Lambert and Roberto Marques.
